Blue Christmas

While the Christmas season is often one of joy and celebration, there are many of us for whom this time of year is quite difficult: those who have suffered losses of loved ones, of relationships, and of employment. If you are someone for whom this holiday season is especially hard, or if you are experiencing any particularly heavy feelings of loss, we invite you to join us. On this shortest day of the year, as the darkness feels so long and heavy, we gather in the stillness of candlelight to pray, chant, hold silence, and break Bread together. May this time provide space for you to sit with your pain, give it to God, and hear again the Good News of the hope that is born for us at Christmas.
