Holy Tuesday Tenebrae

6:00 pm, Tenebrae – Sanctuary This sacred liturgy is done by candlelight and takes its name from the Latin for “darkness” or “shadows.” As the lights are gradually extinguished, we recall Christ who alone remains at the center of our hearts, and as the loud noise sounds near the end, we recall the earth quaking at his resurrection for which we prepare to come at the close of the week.
