Mindfulness Training
SIGN UP-Mindfulness Training- NEW DATES & TIME! Saturday, April 20th & 27th 9:00-10:30am Parish Hall. What is Mindfulness? It is living in the present moment. Essentially, it means being (intentionally) more aware and awake to each moment and being fully engaged in what is happening in one’s surroundings – with acceptance and without judgment.
The trainer is Mary McGrath. She has extensive training in the skills to increase mindfulness and practices it in her everyday life. Each week we will share comments from people who took her last training at St. James. People asked if we could offer it again and we are! Sign up with Nancy Graham, Mary McGrath or by calling the office. The class is limited to 20 people. Mindfulness training helps you to be in the present moment.
