St. James’ Family BBQ

Summer is here! St. James’ wants to kick things off with a simple parish family BBQ by the lake on July 3 from 6-9pm with food ending by 7:30pm. Adults and children of all ages are welcome and bring friends if you want! (just sign up so we know how much food to buy). July 3 is Skaneateles’ Flare Night so families can come early and enjoy some food and fellowship and stay for flares around the lake! St. James’ will not be supplying flares so be on the lookout for the boyscout sales booth at Tops. There will be outside games and activities for children however parents must be responsible for the safety of their children.

The theme of this get together is simple backyard BBQ.  St. James’ needs volunteers to set up, man the grill, and clean up. St. James’ will provide hamburgers, hot dogs and buns.  We need YOU to bring selected items such as baked beans, fruit salad, chips, and desserts such as brownies or cookies. (gluten free needed too!).  As the RSVPs grow, we will need more food so be sure to check back! As we do for Lakeside worship, we encourage you to bring chairs and blankets from home! SIMPLE, FUN, FELLOWSHIP! Should weather become a factor, we will reschedule.
